| Company Brief Guangzhou GISE-MBA New Plastics Technology Co., Ltd (“GMP”) is a Sino-US Joint Venture founded in January 2004, with a total investment of over US$12 million, encompassing nearly 20,000 m2 with an annual processing capacity of 40,000 tons. The two partners are Guangzhou Iron & Steel Enterprises Group Co., Ltd. (“GISE”) and MBA Polymers, Inc. (“MBA”). GMP is located in the Nansha Economic Development Zone of Guangzhou and produces high quality ABS, HIPS, and PP plastic resins from end-of-life consumer products for reuse in a multitude of applications including those that require UL recognized plastics. |

been recognized for its unique and patented plastics separation
technology by receiving, amongst others, the Thomas Alva Edison
Award for Innovation from the Edison Foundation and YEO (Young
Entrepreneurs Organization) in 2002. MBA was described by Inc.
magazine as “One of America’s Most Innovative Companies”, and
has been featured in numerous magazine and newspaper articles. |
| GMP will employ nearly 130 people. Key management staff have Bachelor and Master degrees. MBA’s strong R&D team in the U.S., which includes a number of Ph.D. holders, is dedicated to supporting GMP as it strives to satisfy its customers. |
